15′ 15 Amp Single Piggyback Variable Level Float Switch
Converts a nonautomatic pump into an automatic pump by plugging the float into a wall outlet and plugging the pump into the back of the float's plug (hence the name "piggyback")
Adjustable on and off point set in the field based on the depth of the pump tank or basin in which it is installed
A 230V, 15 Amp normally open float with a 15' cord for pump down applications
The 15’ single piggyback variable level float switch allows you to adjust the on/off points on a nonautomatic pump rated for 230 V and 15 amps or less. The switch can be used in a variety of applications including sump, sewage, effluent, and grinder pumps.

Product Details
Known as the “Switch Mate,” the single piggyback variable level float switch (VLFS) allows you to convert a 230 V nonautomatic pump into an automatic pump. Additionally, the piggyback float switch allows you to adjust the on and off points within the tank. This is ideal for deeper basins and pump tanks.
The piggyback float switch is constructed of PVC and polypropylene. The materials of construction ensure that the switch is able to withstand a harsh wastewater environment.
The standard cord length is 15′ which is more than enough for most basin or pump tank applications. It is also a normally open mechanical float, so it can be used to pump the level down in a pit or tank.
This particular float can be paired with a wide range of our nonautomatic pump models of 15 Amps or less.
