Todd’s Place Express Car Wash

Todd’s Place Express Car Wash in La Grange, Kentucky was in need of a water reclamation system that would manage the overflow of soapy water and efficiently remove waste from one of the final rinsing cycles.

In October, StreamKey, a Zoeller Representative, played a key role in the design process and installation of the new pump station at Todd’s. The pumps, controls, and accessories for the project were supplied by Cayce Mill Supply, a distributor based in Hopkinsville, KY. The pump station features two (2) of Zoeller’s ½ HP 6290 series commercial sewage pumps. These pumps transfer water seamlessly from the basin to the municipal waste line.

Additionally, a Pivot Pro Control Panel (124C4-0001) was installed on site, offering enhanced reliability and peace of mind. The panel is equipped with an LCD interface and built-in audible and visible alarms, which would alert Todd’s employees if any issues were to arise. The panel’s NEMA 4X enclosure is designed for outdoor use, withstanding wet conditions.

Finally, a Wi-Fi gateway was installed at this location, offering around the clock remote equipment monitoring. If anything alarms or is diagnosed to be a fault condition, operators will get instant email/text/push notifications.

Todd, the owner, operates additional facilities on Shelbyville Road and Bardstown Road in Louisville, KY. This installation at Todd’s Place Express Car Wash is a prime example of how tailored pump stations and controls can elevate performance and support continued efficiency and flow for years to come.
